Third year BSc Television and Broadcasting students from The University of Portsmouth have been given access to go behind the scenes with Land Rover BAR as they present Land Rover BAR: The Journey to the America’s Cup. The show will be broadcast live from the home of Land Rover BAR, Old Portsmouth on Friday the 22nd of April at 11am on YouTube and the ‘Big Screen Portsmouth’, Guildhall Square.
The show will be taking an in-depth look at the team to ‘bring the Cup home’ and talking to sailors including David ‘Freddie’ Carr and Paul ‘CJ’ Campbell-James about the life of a professional America’s Cup sailor. The show will also look back at last year’s Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Series Portsmouth event, held off Southsea sea front, before looking at the journey leading up to the event returning to the city between 21st – 24th July. The British Challenger claimed the win in 2015 and will be looking for a repeat performance on home waters.
