Third year Television and Broadcasting students at the University of Portsmouth are taking you behind the scenes of the university’s stress-less week. The event which involves a multitude of animals is taking place on Gun House Green and will be home to animals from pigs to turkeys, guinea-pigs to alpacas, for students to de-stress in the week leading up to exams. The show will be broadcast live at 1:45pm on the 5th of May 2016 on both YouTube and ‘The Big Screen Portsmouth’ in Guildhall Square.
The show aims to explore why animals help us relieve stress and how they help us in our day to day lives. We will be talking to Brent Lodge Wildlife hospital about their rescue project and what they do to help the selection of animals they have there. We will also be running an exciting competition where we want to see your pets and the best photo will receive a doggy gift bag!
